Introduction

The only temple of Khade Ganesh ji is located in Kota city of Rajasthan, which is very old and famous. A large number of devotees come here every day. Khade Ganesh ji temple is a very old and famous temple. There are four famous temples of Ganesh ji in Rajasthan. Respectively Khade Ganesh Ji is in Kota, Dancing Ganesh Ji ( nrty Ganesh) is present in Sawai Madhopur Herymb Ganesh Ji is present in Sirohi district, and another Ganesh Ji. Which is present in Bikaner, these four temples of Lord Ganesha describe different positions of Lord Ganesha. History of the khade Ganesh ji 

This temple was constructed 600 years ago which makes its devotees more excited and filled with faith.

There is a pond at the back of this temple which gets filled during the rainy days. If there is heavy rain then the water of the pond reaches the temple due to which the temple has to be closed. In view of all this, now the pond has a lot of use. It has been done so that water does not come inside.

Earlier no one could visit the Khade  Ganesh ji during the rainy season because during the rainy days, the water level would rise very high due to which the idol of the temple would get submerged in water.

This was around 1995, at that time it was very difficult to go to Khade Ganesh Ji during the rainy season.

Every year a huge fair is organized in this temple and on the occasion of standing Ganesh ji, a huge idol of Ganesha is also unveiled. Every year in the month of September, Ganesh Chaturthi comes, on this day the huge idol of Ganesha is unveiled with great pomp. And is installed in the temple with procession The idol of Lord Ganesha is also worshiped for about 14 days and after 14 days this idol of Lord Ganesha is installed in the Chambal river in a procession.

Structure of Khade Ganesh Ji Temple 

There is also a small pond present near the temple of Lord Ganesha, which attracts devotees present here during the monsoon, It is also a picnic spot and many types of birds and peacocks can be seen here during the monsoon. Kota’s famous Ganesh Udyan is also present behind this temple, where flowers and nature can be enjoyed by paying a thousand rupees. In this holy temple of Khade Ganesh ji, apart from Khade-Ganesh ji, a huge statue of Lord Shiva is also present.

City buses, and auto-rickshaws a good options for you to reach the temple. If you have a personal vehicle then it is very good.

If you are coming from outside Kota, then you will have to travel a distance of 17 km from Kota Railway Station. You will also get a direct city bus from the station.

Jaipur International Airport is at a distance of 240 km from Kota, which is the nearest airport to Kota.

Timing of Khade Ganesh Ji Temple 

Khade Ganesh ji temple opens at 4-5 in the morning and remains open till 11 in the night. Aarti time here is around 10 in the morning.

Best Time Visit to Khade Ganesh Ji Temple 

According to Hindu mythology, Wednesday is considered to be the day of Lord Ganesha, on that day more people come to this temple on a special basis, however, you can go on any day.

Travel Tips 

You will get space outside the temple for parking. Whatever bike or car you have, you can park it comfortably.

Be careful of pickpockets, this type of behavior often happens when there is a large crowd in the temple.

There are many Prasad shops outside the temple, you can take Prasad from there. If you have any such item as polythene, then do not throw it anywhere in the temple.

Before going to the temple, you will see a door on the left side which leads towards Ganesh Udhyan Park. When you go to Ganesh Temple, then come to this park also once. This park is very beautiful to see, here you will see greenery all around. But you will also get to see many types of flowers.
