About Abheda Mahal

The main building of Abheda Mahal is made of yellow stones. It is believed that it is a building of about three floors. Chambal River is present on its other side. And there is a garden on the back side of this building, in this garden a canteen has also been made for people to eat and drink.

A lake has also been built on the other side of this garden, which is also known as Abheda Lake and Lotus flows are also present in this lake. In fact, this view is very mesmerizing. A boating facility is also available on this lake, which takes only ₹ 50 for a trip around the lakes.

History of Abheda Mahal

Not much is known about the history of the Abheda Mahal, but it is believed that this palace was built in the 18th century and crocodiles were mainly kept in this palace. By which the citizens of Kota city were also entertained. A separate lake was built here for crocodiles, which was constructed by Umesh Singh Second between 1889 and 1940.

There is also an Abheda lake in the Abheda palace. And this lake was first built in 1346 by Raja Dheerdeh. The crocodiles that were kept here were also named and all those crocodiles were pets. Paintings and carvings have also been done on the yellow walls of this palace, where information about the royalty, rich culture, and history of the old King Maharajas of Kota city is also available.

Two ghats are also present here for the bathing of kings and emperors, which are respectively called Janna Ghat and one Mardana Ghat. It was believed that all the men and kings used to bathe in Mardana Ghat while all the women and queens of the palace bathed in Zanana Ghat. used to A queen palace is also present in this palace, which is very small but the queen used to live inside it.

The water system in this palace is also perfect, here a well was also constructed, whose name is Riyasat Kaleen Kaun. This well is also used to meet all the needs of water, which can be seen even at present. Outside this palace, there is also a small green garden in a square shape, where you can see many rabbits playing.
